THE TEAM
NOGA
Yoga instructor, Thai massage therapist, climber, nature lover and anatomy geek
I have always been fascinated in understanding how our body works, and particularly the relationship of our body and mind. That curiosity led me to study a degree in Biology and Psychology, but soon enough I realized that the best way for me to explore the mind-body connection is through the practice of yoga, mindfulness and the abundant approaches and disciplines surrounding them.
I fell in love with climbing a few years ago. Since then, I am learning on my own body and mind how the practice of yoga can contribute to climbing. The body benefits from the strength and mobility that we gain through practice, while the influences of breath and meditation on our mind is a real life- changer!
I have been teaching over the past 8 years, founded and managed my own studio in Israel, and have been travelling around the world in the past 2 years. Today, I am offering workshops and retreats as well as group or private zoom classes. You are very welcome to join us in one of my zoom classes to get to know me.

The perfect combination between Yoga and Climbing
How yoga can affect climbing
During the retreat, we will enjoy the combination of movement and stillness, mobility and strength practice, soft yoga for recovery, meditation and breathwork.
On the yoga mat, we cultivate awareness, calmness, concentration, playfulness and kindness.
Those qualities permeate from the yoga mat into our life and also into our climb.
In my lessons, I enjoy combining different yoga methods, as well as other movement and spiritual disciplines (such as Ido Portal, Feldenkrais and Buddhism).
The practice has a deep effect on our climbing, allowing us to increase our range of motion, strength and balance, improve our performance on the rock, and more importantly our inner experience!
Towards the end of the retreat, we will have a special session of Acroyoga for whoever will be interested.
Juliette
Vinyasa yoga teacher and personal trainer in muscle balancing
Passionate about sports and adventure, I first became interested in the practice of yoga through acroyoga. I then became passionate about the practice of Vinyasa yoga. This style of yoga, inspired by an ancestral Indian practice, Ashtanga, allows the synchronisation of movement with breath through a series of fluid postures.
It was during my first training in Indonesia (Bali) that the word yoga took on its full meaning in my eyes. The union between the physical practice (already explored during my studies in physical preparation) and the mental one which harmonizes to find balance.
For 3 years I took the time to explore different learning styles and to find my identity as a teacher. During several climbing trips, I had the opportunity to teach yoga to groups of climbers and discovered the many benefits of these complementary practices.
I then decided to realise my childhood dream of going to India to complete my training. After one month of intensive training, I received an international certification that allows me to fully launch myself as a teacher and to share my passion so that everyone can find meaning in their yoga practice. In eternal learning with my head full of projects, I plan very soon to enrich my training in yin yoga and pranayama (breathing).

Adventure and flow
"The body is much stronger than our mind lets us think"
During my sessions I use this mantra and my knowledge of anatomy to create adapted flows. I also use meditation as a motor to work on feeling through the 5 senses.
The aim is to offer you specific sessions to enjoy your climbing day in full consciousness.
Namaste
FRED
Rock climbing teacher, meditative climber
After some fifteen years dedicated to the research and development of laser systems, I decided to continue my journey with the desire to transmit the fullness of the great spaces and the vertical life. I like sharing the culture and practice of climbing in the outdoors. Serenity, kindness and attentiveness are the qualities I hope to portray with the people I support around the cliffs.
My wanderings have brought me to Kalymnos and it’s charm has kept me here. This fascinating island seduced me in many ways: the mildness of its climate, the quietude of its landscapes and of course the richness of its cliffs. I love sharing the magic of this place, it transforms all who come to experience it. Whether you have just a few hours or a few weeks you can enjoy the rock climbing on Kalymnos!

Climb in Kalymnos: mythical!
There is climbing and there is Kalymnos
I will accompany you to discover a multitude of exceptional cliffs, in a magical environment that smells of thyme (and sometimes a little goat); you will return forever seduced by the sirens of the island if you abandon the caution of Ulysses.
Like Ariadne, I will guide you through the maze of more than 4000 routes on the island, helping you to discover the best ones, according to your level, the best exposure (wind, sun, temperature), the length of the approach, the frequency according to the seasons, etc.
We will climb over the sea and become philosophical climbers for a while, on the very suggestive patronymic route: Socratic swimming lessons. We will also travel to Telendos, which will give our session a touch of adventure.
